Themed Cycling Classes

Get your heart pumpin while listenin to your favorite tunes! Join Janna in a fun workout sesh to themed cycling classes at the YMCA of Saginaw. Whether we're jamin to 90s, Britney, Rihana, or Tate, this workout session is a must!

Ride to the beat of your favorite artists or era with Janna! Every session brings a new soundtrack to power your workout. Janna invites you for a fun, high energy cycling class in a supportive environment!

Feel free to dress the part if you would like!

What to Expect:

The instructor will talk you through various speeds and heavy resistance drills, but you’ll be so focused on the fun themed playlists that you will leave feeling exhilarated after this incredible low impact cardiovascular workout.

All fitness levels welcome – whether you’re new to cycling or ready to level up your routine.

  • Time: Thursdays from 6:35 – 7:35 PM and Sundays from 10:15 – 11:15 AM
  • Themes:
    • Thursday, March 5th: 90s Night 
    • Thursday, March 12th: Rihanna Ride
    • Sunday, March 22nd: Pedal and Praise
    • Thursday, March 26th: Tops Hits of the 2000s
  • Where: Saginaw YMCA Health Enhancement Room
  • Bring water, wear comfortable workout clothes, and get ready to sweat! A towel may be handy.

Why Bikes N Bands?

Cycling workouts are low impact and joint-friendly, but do our bodies (and minds) SERIOUS good! This class gives riders a frequent break from the saddle to fit in quality strength training intervals on the floor, for a full spectrum workout of cardio AND strength.
