YMCA Membership and Marketing Director Doug Temple says, “The Y is passionate about supporting our military and the Open House effort is only one way the YMCA is showing their support. The Y’s Veterans Health Initiative provides multiple annual learning events, complimentary facility access for Veterans and their families, Veteran centric group exercise classes, camperships for youth of military families to attend YMCA Camp Timbers in West Branch, and we work in concert with the Aleda Lutz VA Medical Center to help provide access for MOVE! Classes and water rehabilitation services. The Y stands ready to assist those who serve”.
Organizations interested in participating in the health expo can reach Doug Temple at Dtemple@SaginawYMCA.org or by calling 989.753.7721 x218. Individuals looking to participate can arrive any time between 9am and 1pm on Wednesday February 19.
