Make an Impact

Cause-Driven, Non-Profit

Every gift is important and every dollar raised makes a difference in our community. Each dollar raised for our mission goes right back into the Saginaw community. These dollars make it possible for youth to go to camp, participate in after school programs, and much more. Families can learn life long healthy living skills. Seniors benefit from specialty programs to live longer, better lives.  Veterans receive access to services they deserve. The YMCA of Saginaw is for all!

As a 501 (c)(3) organization, we accept matching gifts from employers. Check with your employer to see if they match employee charitable donations. Therefore, your cash gifts will be eligible for tax deduction for income tax purposes. Please consult your financial advisor for further tax information.

Endowment

Ensuring a YMCA for the Future

Making a difference for generations to come, an endowment provides for the future financial stability of the Y. The objective is to draw only on the earnings of the endowment fund and leave the principal intact as it grows, generating an ever-increasing level of income to ensure Y Financial Assistance for individuals, children, and families in need. Proceeds from the endowment are also used to strengthen and develop programs and services and improve facilities.

Volunteer

The YMCA was founded on a simple but powerful idea: bringing neighbors together to advance the common good, we can improve lives and strengthen communities. That idea came to life 170 years ago when George Williams convened 11 volunteers to improve the lives of young men struggling to overcome the challenges of life in industrialized London. Volunteers are the most vital and irreplaceable element of the Y. In short, we simply cannot create such a lasting and meaningful impact in Saginaw without you!

We’re always looking for volunteers to help further our cause. Apply for one of our many volunteer opportunities today!
