The YMCA of Saginaw was proud to join United Financial Credit Union in recognizing American Legion Blumfield Post #229 for its continued commitment to serving veterans throughout Saginaw County.
The recognition was part of the Y’s Veterans Lunch & Learn Series, which brings veterans together for connection, conversation, helpful resources, and opportunities to learn more about services available in our community.
Supporting veterans is about more than any one event. It takes strong community partnerships and people who are willing to show up for those who have served. Organizations like American Legion Blumfield Post #229 and community partners throughout Saginaw County help ensure veterans and their families know they have somewhere to turn for support and connection.
