The YMCA of Saginaw’s new Early Learning Center is one step closer to welcoming children and families this September!
One of the latest milestones has been the installation of our colorful window graphics, adding the finishing touches that are transforming the space into a bright, inviting environment for young learners. Every day brings something new as classrooms are prepared and the center begins to reflect the warm, engaging atmosphere we can’t wait to share with our community.
Our Early Learning Center is designed to provide high-quality care and education for children beginning at 6 weeks of age through preschool. Using the Creative Curriculum®, our program encourages children to learn through play while supporting their social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development. Our experienced staff is committed to creating a nurturing environment where every child feels safe, supported, and inspired to grow.
Families can expect more than just exceptional childcare. The center offers nutritious meals and snacks, outdoor play every day, regular communication through newsletters and family updates, and an inclusive environment that works with families to meet each child’s individual needs. We also believe that every child deserves access to quality early childhood education, and financial assistance may be available for qualifying families.
Enrollment will be offered on a full-time basis, with children attending three to five days per week, depending on classroom availability and age requirements. The YMCA also offers a 15% sibling discount for the second child and each additional child enrolled from the same family.
As we continue putting the final touches on the center, we’re excited to share our progress with you. These new window graphics are just one more sign that opening day is getting closer, and we can’t wait to welcome our first families through the doors.
