Mural Project Turns Hallway into YMCA Art

The YMCA of Saginaw is excited to unveil a new mural project inside its community hub, created by local artist Sydney Veverka, featuring 13 panels that highlight the vibrant activities and events at the Y. Guests have already expressed their admiration for the whimsical artwork, which showcases the talent and diversity of the Great Lakes Bay Region. This project was made possible through the generous support of ITC, and the YMCA looks forward to continuing its partnership with ITC to strengthen the community and celebrate its creativity.

This mural project inside the YMCA community hub led by local artists, brings together a collage of 13 panels highlighting activities and events one could see happening at the Y. Our artist was Sydney Veverka.

Guests at the Y have already expressed great joy in admiring the whimsical art.

The YMCA of Saginaw has been a partner in the community for over 150 years.

Thanks to supporters like ITC, we can showcase the community’s talent and diverse ability.

We hope to partner again with ITC as we work together to strengthen our community and Great Lakes Bay Region.
