DAY: Saturday DATE: January 7 TIME: 4pm – 9pm COST: Free for Members / $10 Non-members
Past and prospective campers, ages 6-15, are invited to experience favorite camp activities and meet the Camp Timbers staff at the YMCA of Saginaw. Camp staff will lead games, crafts and activities throughout the night, and a pizza dinner will be provided. Don’t forget to bring your swimsuit and a friend!
Parents, you are encouraged to attend as well. Brian, our
camp director, will be available to share more about summer opportunities at Camp Timbers and answer your questions. Learn about our registration process, summer camp programs and practical packing tips.

MINI OvERNIGHT CAMP - $215/week (ages 7-10) 3 days, 2 nights Week #3 July 5 - July 7
TRADITIONAL OvERNIGHT CAMP - $415 (ages 7-14) 6 days, 5 nights Week #4 July 9 - July 14 Week #6 July 23 - July 28 Week #5 July 16 - July21
DAY CAMP - $125/week (ages 7-14) 8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday

TEEN LEADERSHIP CAMP - $500 (ages 14-16) 14 days, 13 nights Y Members pay $450. Campers experience daily leadership- development training, an off-camp day trip, and a special service project.

COUNSELOR IN TRAINING - $600 (ages 16-17)
This three-week program includes in-cabin experience learning alongside counselors and a four-night canoe trip. Registration requires the approval of an additional application.

BOYS/GIRLS OUTDOOR LEADERSHIP DEvELOPMENT (BOLD/GOLD) - $415 (ages 14-17) A one-week hiking/canoeing backcountry experience that begins and ends at Camp Timbers. Specific trip locations TBD, based within either the Huron-Manistee or Hiawatha National Forests.

Enjoy an afternoon at camp, including staff-led tours and a sampling of favorite camp activities.

a devotion focused on our core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
BREAKFAST
Our foodservice staff provide campers with healthy options for each meal & snacks. Sample breakfast: scrambled eggs, biscuits, bacon, fresh fruit, cereal, and OJ.
CAMPER’S CHOICE PERIODS
Campers select their favorite activities each day! They can also sign up in advance for specialty programs, like horseback riding.
CABIN ACTIVITIES
Our counselors are trained team building facilitators. Campers learn how to solve problems by working together.
HANG TIME
Counselor supervised, camper directed creative playtime.
CABIN DEVOTIONS
Counselors plan activities that and closure to the day.
LUNCH
Our kitchen staff work to accommodate campers with special dietary needs, including allergies.
Sample lunch: grilled cheese sandwiches, tomato soup, and salad bar.
REST PERIOD AND SNACK
DINNER
Sample dinner: spaghetti and meatballs, garlic bread, vegetable, and salad bar.
ALL CAMP SPECIAL EVENTS
LIGHTS OUT BEGINS
Our youngest campers head to bed; older campers have progressively later bedtimes.
