Attackbots Robotics

Ages 6-14 years old

In this exciting class, students will build a variety of military inspired robotic models. Children will learn about sensors, gears, pulleys, and programming as they create robotic catapults, crossbows, tanks, bomber planes and much more!

Movie Magic~Animation Studios

Ages 6-14 years old

Create amazing movies with stop motion animation using LEGO® bricks. Children will work in teams to produce their very own movie complete with dialogue and sound effects. Movies are uploaded to a secure site for family and friends to see how cool they are! Kids will learn story and character development, improve computer & technology skills, and stop motion animation software, and movie cameras.

Video Game Design

Ages 9-14 years old

Create your own video game in this awesome gaming program. We’ll teach you how to design your very own online game that can be shared and played at home with family & friends. Kids will develop computer skills, program navigation, spatial planning, and game mechanics. They will also develop a story narrative, game progression, character choice, conflict development, and solution planning.

Amusement Park Engineering

Ages 6-14 years old

Design your own amusement park in this super fun program! Learn how to use LEGO® bricks and other building materials to make coasters and other awesome rides. Can you design the next Disney World? Kids will explore the scientific method and engineering design process while developing appropriate strategies for logical problem solving. They will learn about mechanical movement, energy, potential & kinetic energy, gears, pulleys, and motors.

Drone Commander

Ages 9-14 years old

In our newest class, Drone Commander, students will be introduced to the world of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and develop a deep understanding how to control and manage this exciting technology. In this workshop, children will learn about the types of UAVs, the parts needed for controlled flight, the forces of flight, basic drone safety, and a variety of flying maneuvers. This exciting program will give your child the chance to safely test out some of the newest advances in robotics and really take their knowledge of engineering to new heights!

Escape Room

Ages 6-14 years old

Hurry, your team has 60 minutes to discover clues, solve puzzles, answer riddles, and manipulate contraptions in order to complete assigned tasks to ultimately unlock the door to escape! The team that escapes the fastest is given ultimate bragging rights…until their record is beaten by a new team! In Escape Room, students will play various escape games using their budding S.T.E.A.M. skills; in our longer programs, students will actually have the chance to design and implement their own escape games! Kids will practice emergent math skills to complete riddles and puzzles while exercising strategic thinking and planning skills. They will also utilize inductive and deductive reasoning skill to participate in teamwork for success.

Incredible Inventions

Ages 6-14 years old

Do you enjoy inventing new things? Learn about the process real inventors go through while you help design, build and program robotic models to solve problems using LEGO® bricks and robotics. Are you the next Thomas Edison? Learning is enhanced through use of laptops. Kids will explore robotics, basic computer programming, pseudo-coding, sensor input, and mechanics while practicing critical thinking & problem-solving skills though challenges meant to push their inventiveness though play.

Minecraft

Ages 6-12 years old

Do you think you know everything there is to know about Minecraft® and more? In specially designed Minecraft®, you are going to be put to the test with Basic, Epic, and Advanced activities. Travel to the Nether and have your knowledge challenged in games of crafting and creating. What ideas can you create in EPIC Minecraft® – perhaps something that you Nether thought of before. Come see if your skills are worthy at Snapology’s Minecraft®!

Space Wars Robotics

Ages 6-14 years old

In this class, inspired by Star Wars® and space travel, kids will go on an adventure in building and programming functional robots using LEGO® bricks in this super-fun program. Learn about space, space travel and, of course Star Wars®! Build different robots each day! Learning is enhanced through the use of laptops in this class! Kids will investigate topics about Earth and Space Sciences, celestial bodies, and orbits while exploring robotics, basic computer programming, pseudo-coding, sensor inputs, and mechanics.

Adventures with Star Wars®

Ages 6-14 years old

If you love Star Wars®, this is the class for you. Come participate in Star Wars® themed activities using LEGO® bricks and other interactive learning tools, build scenes from the movie, build ships, light-sabers, you name it… May the force be with you.

Real World Robotics

Ages 6-14 years old

In this class, students interested in technology will create robotic models inspired by real life robotic technologies. Students will learn about gear ratio, sensors, simple machines, and programming as they build alarm devices, earthquake detectors, robotic arms, and much more. Your child will have a blast exploring the world of robotic technologies as they build, learn, and play. Kids will investigate topics in robotic technology such as rovers, prosthetic limbs, pseudo-coding, and sensor inputs while learning hands-on work with pulleys, gears, and cranks using engineering skills to solve challenges.

Superheroes & Frozen

Ages 6-14 years old

In this specially designed class for boys and girls, kids will have the chance to mix movie genres. They will design their own superhero using LEGO® bricks, create your own adventure and comic strip OR design their own Ice Castle, create your own snowman, like Olaf, and love is an open door is only a snowflake away. Have a blast as you create your own kingdom of Arrendale using LEGO® bricks or uncover your very own superpower!

Mini-figure Mania

Ages 6-14 years old

During this class we will let you play with our secret stash of mini-figures…from movie characters, to sea creatures, to SpongeBob! Join us as we shrink ourselves to mini-figure size and create our own mini-figure worlds. Welcome to mini-figure mania!

Sumobots

Ages 6-14 years old

The ancient art of SUMO wrestling may be fun to watch, but certainly not so easy to compete in. Not anymore! In this program, your child will design their own SUMO wrestling robot that will compete against their classmate’s bots for the title of toughest SUMO Bot. There are no limitations put onto their robot designs and they will have the opportunity to refine their robots as they compete during the program. This design process will make them better engineers, better programmers, and better collaborators.

Snapology Survivor

Ages 6-14 years old

Does your learner have what it takes to be a STEM Survivor? If your child enjoys taking on engineering and design challenges, working with a team to complete timed tasks, and using partnerships to brainstorm and explore new possibilities to solve unique problems, this program is the perfect place for them to push their STEM and building skills to the next level! Throughout the program, students will be challenged to design and build complicated objects, work cooperatively with others to secure their place on a team, and compete to be the fastest and most precise competitors in the class.

Ages 6-14 years old

Create an amazing Minecraft movie with stop motion animation using LEGO® bricks. Ages 6-14 years old

Have you ever imagined traveling around the world?  Now you can with Snapology.  Take a trip around the world, exploring and solving challenges and tasks in various countries that will put you ahead or behind in the race to the finish line.  Students will compete in fun challenges to test their building and problem-solving skills.  Students will gain appreciation for cultures as they travel around the world, sightseeing, exploring, and beating the challenges to win the race.
