Available for Ages 6-12

At Camp Y Kids’ Adventure Day Camp, your child will be engaged in themed-filled weeks of fun! Weekly themed-related arts & crafts, organized games, and character development activities help make each week a unique experience. Add in a weekly field trip, (the option to) swim every day, scavenger hunts, STEM activities, sports, and so much more! Morning snacks, Lunches, and Dinners are all provided at no additional cost. This all-inclusive camp is exactly what your child (and you) needs for the summer.

Explore our themed weeks of fun!

Week 1: i. Hola! Aloha! Bonjour! Nǐ hǎo!

June 15th-19th

Kick off your YMCA Adventure Day Camp experience by saying Hello to fellow Campers that will turn into Familia, Ohana, Famille, Jiātíng, for the entire summer. This week, and every other week as well, will feature arts & crafts, STEM activities, sports, swimming, music, food, and so much more!

 

 

Week 2: Secret Agents

 June 22nd –26th

As a newest secret agent, Campers will earn your stripes by completing daily missions that include wilderness survival and awareness, writing and breaking codes, and mastering the art of disguise.

 

Week 3: Around the World

June 29th – July 3rd 

Alrededor del Mundo! Autour du Monde! Um die Welt! Huán yóu shìjiè! Any way you say it, that’s where we are going! Camper will become a world traveler this week when we dive into the diverse cultures, traditions, language, and FOOD from around the world!

 

Week 4: Scavenger Hunt

July 6th-July 10th

Campers will learn survival skills safety for your family camping adventures, learn to read maps, use a compass, and shoot a bow & arrow. The week ends with a scavenger hunt around Saginaw where they put their newly formed skills to the test to solve a mystery.

Week 5: Musicology

July 13th – July 17st

Party On! Rock Out! Get your groove on! Campers will be immersed in activities, games, and fun all revolving around music! Dance parties, karaoke, and dance classes will be incorporated as special fun during this week. This week ends with a dance party for Campers, their parents, or any special person in their lives!

Week 6: Olympics

July 20-24th

Don’t think we have forgotten about your sports fans! Our Olympics-themed week focuses on both the individual and team sports the YMCA is known for. From Basketball, soccer, and kickball, to archery, relay races, martial arts, if your Camper loves to “get moving,” this is the week for them!

Week 7: Grossology: The Art of Weird Sciences

July 27th-31st

Join us for our EWWY GOOEY GROSS science week. Campers will learn everything they ever wanted to know about gross and smelly facts, along with experiments that will make you want to hold your nose and scrunch up your face while laughing about it with your camp friends and family.

Week 8: Minute to Win It

August 3rd-August 7th

Bring on the games! This week will be packed with fun and quirky games and competitions. Campers will also have the chance to use their imagination to create their own challenging games while also enjoying some Y favorites.

Week 9: Around the World

August 10th-14th

Week 10: Groove Is In the Heart

August 17th-21st

Wrap up your camp experience with a week long dance party! Special games, field-trips, and activities will revolve around all things music and dance! Have you ever wanted to be part of the latest Tik-Tok dance craze or think you can follow in the dance steps of Beyonce, than this is the week for you!

Time

All weeks of camp are set to occur:

  • Early drop off: 8am-9am
  • Programming start time: 9am-4pm
  • Late pick up: 4pm-6pm

Pricing

  • Weekly rate: $150.00
  • Early/Late Drop off:
    • $5.00 per kid per day

                             OR

    • $15.00 per kid per week
