The YMCA of Saginaw is excited about the upcoming annual Kids Tri Too Youth Triathlon. With multiple events being promoted in our area, the YMCA continues to combine a great family value, as well as introducing our Saginaw youth to the sport of triathlons.

Pic used on 2016 flyer - brightenedOur goal to get kids age 2-12 (updated from 3-12) moving while they are having fun. Our goal is to see 60 or more this year, out of the pool and on to their bikes before finishing with a run.

Picnic celebration lunch will be provided

2017:  First 60 youth registered will receive a free helmet and helmet fitting.*

Bring:  Swimsuit, towel, goggles, running clothes and comfortable shoes and a helmet and bike.

Triathlon Distances: Each age group will have a different length to complete for each discipline of this noncompetitive race.

Swim
5 and under=25 yards in Shallow Pool
6-7=50 yards
8-9=100 yards
10-12=150 yards

Bike
5 and under=Around parking lot
6-7=1/2 mile
8-9=1 mile
10-12=1.5 miles

Run
5 and under=In Parking Lot
6-7=1/4 mile
8-9=1/2 mile
10-12=3/4 mile
