Triathlon – Youth – Kids Tri Too and Training

Time:  11:00am – 1:00pm
Lunch provided for all youth under age 18 post race.

Triathlon for youth up to age 12.  Age groups will race separately.
Each group will begin in the pool, exit through tthe ramily locker rooms and then transition outside through the east side exit to the bike staging area.  They will then bike the designated track in the parking lot/Ojibway island, and run the outdoor track.

Packet Pickup:  beginning at 10am on race day. 
Age Groups:
5 & Under, 6-7, 8-9, 10-12

Participants Must Bring:  Swimsuit, towel, goggles, running clothes and comfortable shoes and a helmet and bike.

Triathlon Distances: Each age group will have a different length to complete for each discipline of this noncompetitive race.

Swim – Indoors
NOTE:  Participant does not have to swim on their own.  Life jackets encouraged.
5 and under=25 yards in Shallow Pool
6-7=50 yards
8-9=100 yards
10-12=150 yards

Bike – Outdoors
5 and under=Around parking lot
6-7=1/2 mile
8-9=1 mile
10-12=1.5 miles

Run – Outdoors
5 and under=In Parking Lot
6-7=1/4 mile
8-9=1/2 mile
10-12=3/4 mile
