The purpose of the Red Cross Lifeguarding course is to provide entry-level lifeguarding  participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide care for injuries and sudden illnesses until EMS arrive and take over.

A book will given to each participant at the first class. Be sure to bring a swim suit, towel and course materials to every class!

Upon passing course, participants will receive a lifeguard, first aid and CPR/AED certification valid for 2 years.

Prerequisite:  (ages 15+)
300 yard swim, dive down 9 feet and retrieve a 10 lb. brick.

Lifeguard Instructor

Must attend all 3 days.

Prerequisites:  (ages 18+)
Valid American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification, CPR and First Aid Certified.
