2018 Summer Camps

Note: 2018 camp rates are pending, and will be updated below prior to registration opening on Oct. 2, 2017.

Mini Overnight Camp    (ages 7-10)
An introduction to summer overnight camp designed for our youngest campers.  3 days, 2 nights.

Session #3   July 1-3

Overnight Camp   (ages 7-14)
The classic camp experience: age-based activity periods, daily waterfront and specialty sessions, and much more! 6 days, 5 nights.

Session #4   July 8-13

Session #5   July 15-20

Session #6   July 22- 27

Day Camp   (ages 7-14)
A perfect option for our neighbors.  Campers join age-based groups and enjoy camp activities Monday through Friday, 8:30 am-5:00 pm.

Boots & Saddle Horse Specialty (ages 9-14)

Available with above camps for an additional $100/week.  Campers spend 2 hours/day with our horses – learning basic horse care, receiving riding instruction, and enjoying rides on camp’s beautiful trails.

Engineering for Kids Specialty  (ages 7-14)

Available with above camps for an additional $100/week.  Campers spend 2 hours/day in our temporary on-site computer lab, engaging in hands-on, minds-on engineering-based experiences facilitated by staff from Engineering for Kids – Great Lakes Bay.

Teen Leadership Camp  (ages 14-16)
Campers experience daily leadership lessons,  an off-camp day trip, and an in-camp service  project during this 6 day, 5 night experience.  This is the first stepping stone of our leadership development sequence for teens.

Counselor in Training (CIT)  (ages 16-17)

This two-week camper experience includes in-cabin learning working alongside counselors and a three-day canoe trip.  Enrollment requires the completion of an additional application, available October 2017.  Our CITs will have the opportunity to be role models and leaders for our younger campers, and they should demonstrate caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, and maturity worthy of emulating.  Participants successfully completing the two-week CIT program may return for a third week if they wish in a volunteer capacity at no cost.

Session #4-5    July 8-20

Teen Outdoor Leadership Trips (ages 14-17)

Our outdoor leadership trips combine a memorable wilderness trip experience with leadership lessons.  All trips begin and end at YMCA Camp Timbers with meals, specialized gear, and training provided.  2018 trip locations and dates are pending as we seek to develop new itineraries and update existing routes.  All trips occur within a 6 day, 5 night program.
