Shark’s Group Swim Lessons

A few friendly reminders about our swim lessons:

Parents or a designated adult of children 5 years old and under must remain in the pool area for the duration of the swim lesson to assist their child to the restroom when needed.

-Parents or a designated adult of children 6 years old and up must remain in the building for the duration of the swim lesson if their child is able to use the restroom on their own.

-In case of lightening/thunder we will close the pool for 30 minutes past last observation.

-Parents on the pool deck should be seated on the benches or standing near the bench areas and not around the pool’s edge or obstructing walkways.

-Please have your children rinse off from head to toe before entering the pools.

Thank you for helping us keep you and your children safe during swim lesson.

Youth Group Swim Lessons

Ages 3 – 5 years
Ages 6 – 12 years

If your child has not completed a 2017-19 session:
Due to many changes in the Y-USA requirements, you must sign them up for the next test out day to learn what stage they will be in for their swim lessons to properly place them at the correct starting point.

Once registered for the test out, you can come anytime on that date between 5:00pm-6:15.  Each test takes approximately 5 minutes per child.
An adult does not get in the water with them.
They will be asked to go under water, so hair will get wet.

Once you have a certificate showing the assigned stage:

Once your child has passed stage 5 they will be ready for either competitive or non competitive swim options.

  • Build confidence around the water
  • Learn water safety skills
  • Improve stroke development
